What to Expect

Located two and half hours to the north of Bangkok is Thailand’s premier wine growing region of Khao Yai, set within the lush mountainous landscapes of Pak Chong. Base yourself at the luxurious Thames Valley Khao Yai and visit two of the region’s most celebrated wineries to sample their gastronomic delights. You’ll have plenty of time to wander through the boutique shops of the Italian-themed streets of the Palio Shopping Village and venture into the wildlife-filled landscapes of the Khao Yai National Park.

  • After pick up from your hotel in Bangkok, you will travel towards Khao Yai and the Thames Valley estate. Settle in to this luxury property, set within one of Thailand’s most charming wine regions, and soak up the peace and tranquility. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to explore Khao Yai’s viticultural landscapes and discover the history and wine producing processes at the GranMonte Vineyard and Winery. Sample its fine wine paired with regional produce and indulge in a gourmet dinner at the estate’s restaurant.

  • Backed by the beautiful landscapes of Khao Yai, start the day with a delicious breakfast at the Thames Valley Khao Yai. Today you will visit the Palio Shopping village, an exclusive mall designed like a Tuscan village and home to an eclectic mix of independent shops, gourmet produce and unique gifts. Then travel to the PB Valley Khao Yai Winery, one of the most charming estates in the region, to learn about its wine producing techniques and sample what has been judged one of Thailand’s best white wines.

    In the evening, indulge in a meal at The Great Hornbill Grill & Restaurant, serving up fusion Thai-Western cuisine surrounded by stunning vineyards.

  • After your last breakfast in Khao Yai, check out from the Thames Valley estate to explore the Khao Yai National Park, Thailand’s first national park and one of its largest. Hike one of its many walking trails, spot gibbons, elephants and hornbills, and witness the impressive Haew Narok waterfall.

    Then return to Bangkok and your hotel of choice.
